::About Dawn Light::

The blessing of the hoop entered my life in Oct. 2002. An inspiration and dear friend, who I feel is a sister to me, Christabel, turned me on to the hoop. It was then that I began my own personal journey and dance inside my hoop. I was so excited and determined to learn how to use this hoop that I persued it with complete abandon. I brought my hoop everywhere I went. I hooped and hooped till I was black and blue (literaly). Hopeful and content inside knowing I was growing as a hooper, I started to feel so much excitement and joy. Just like being a child again.This gift called the hoop helped show me how to feel good in my body, open up my energy and dance in new ways. Hoop dance helped me touch into a real sensual, playful artistic expression of spirit. I had found a new me through this transformation.

Dance, movement, yoga, hiking, nature, swimming, dj-ing and the healing arts of Aromatherapy, Reiki, and Massage Therapy in Santa Barbara had occupied my time previous to the hoop. I find the study of healing with Energy and Essential Oils fascinating. Spirituality and connection to Higher Truth, Love, Wisdom and Divine Source Goddess-God-One-All that is... has been a path I have been on all my life. I find the study of mysticism, mythology, astrology, nature, psychology and the energetic body-mind-spirit connection all wonderful ways to discover more of who you are. I think this is the key to inner joy-- discovering who you are in lif through all your endevors. This has been my own personal discovery in my own life.

Affirmations and positive mental attitude have helped me through everything in my life. Letting go, and trusting in your inner voice speaks so loud and clear too me. Tapping into your spirit, allowing it to be free, reaching a higher trancendental state through dance really feels good to me. plain and simple. I dance to feel free and alive, I dance to be energized. I dance to have a union inside myself. I feel so thankfull for this gift and my life, that I want to share it with the world. I hope that each soul can hopefully be touched by this gift of love and light!

Hooping has been a gift to me; bringing to the forefront of my life practical skills, encouragement, joy, inspiration, clarity and confidence. I have realized that people everywhere can benefit from hooping. My hope is that the message I bring will help to open up new worlds of thought, new patterns of thinking, and therefore opening the heart to the divine connection of love.

May my root chakra hold the sacred fire of love and creativity stored in the seat of my womb..
Nurturing it...Tending to the flame of the violet fire..Bubbling up my kundalini rising.. and out my crown like the phoenix taking flight...to embark on the golden octave of light expanding into infinite bliss...Within my sacred kiss...in union with your bliss...may we dance together as one...you and I  turning into the ball of swirling consciousness. Come to my beckon call of unconditional love. Hear the tone and sound of AHAU in your central channel and essence core...Deep within this heart of mine do you belong..We are kindred...we are the flame...we are the light...we are the beings of pure light.
Swirling, Whirling like the snake..up and down the rounded road of luminosity...You can hear the coyote breathe. Deep. Deep. Deep. Breathe....in, you are now entering your sacred ritual and Egyptian tomb which you so long sought. Here we are to embark on the Priestess High Journey..You no longer have forgot...No more illusions to cut through..For you are so bright, they turn to light. Merging consciousness in your heart divine...Wakefull dreaming is your soul..you are the eternal beautiful whole. Seeing who you are..dreaming your conscousness clear. Clarity, Clarity, Clarity O' rising high within the diamond sky. Shine, shine, Shine your light...For the truth flows like the rivers of the nile. Rise Nephertity spread your wings and fly...Like a bird so high in the sky. You are awake. You are aware. You are here and present so clear! Beloved be born again and again..for your truth..I shall never sin. Silver wings on a golden dove so high above the pyramid tops. Lifting the veil of deception. Shifting the perception. There is no need to fear for you belong here. Breathe deep into your core..and know forever more. Embody the I am.
